Rumor has it that the next Durango may be coming to their original body on frame structure, ditching the unibody construction along the way. In the third generation launch (dated back in 2010), Durango was designed on the unibody construction – while the original and the (first) two generations of the line was using the body on frame for true SUV experience. Well, it seems that Dodge is now thinking about getting back to its original body on frame design again.
In the 2023 model, which may be coming as the fourth generation, the Durango will be produced in FCA Warren Truck manufacturing plant. Possible Hybrid Technology
It is possible that there is going to be a hybrid lightweight version offered. If it happens, the hybrid vehicle will be using 48V of alternator starter technology – the same one used in new lightweight Ram 1500 Nm of torque hybrid. The big V8 engine will produce 707 hp of power with 645 Nm of torque. This is the same power that is constructed for Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.

Style improvements will be implemented for 2023 Dodge Durango. There isn’t clear about what is going to happen on the outside, but the interior cabin will definitely get new technologies. The UConnect FCA Infotainment display screen with 10.1 inch size will be used the first time in Durango. In short, the updates on the interior will match the powerful and solid stance of Durango.
