If you are one of those pick-up truck fans, you may want to learn more about the 2023 Chevy Silverado, which is claimed to come with its refreshed look and upgrade work. Many have stated that Silverado will get refresh look and mid-cycle upgrade, especially for the interior. It should be interesting, considering that many manufacturers are more interested on updating the exterior instead of the interior.
The Upcoming Updates
According to many close sources, Chevy plans to have middle stacks and consoles within their interior cabin – so that Silverado would be similar to Chevy Suburban and Tahoe. The updates may include several minor changes – designed especially for front-bench seating trucks.
Exterior Updates
There have been several photos on the net showing spy shots of the 2023 Chevy Silverado, including on the interior part – the focus of the development. In the past, Chevy made serious mistakes through their lousy cups and blah interior. That’s why they are adamant enough to change the interior and the front end.
The changes on Silverado also take place on Suburban and Tahoe – with them offering a (optional) power shift on the center console. However, it is unclear whether this change on Tahoe and Suburban will also affect Silverado. But it is (likely) confirmed that Silverado will get fitter up switch for the entry trim as well as mid trim.
Chevy seems to be busy as they are planning updates for the 2023 Silverado – while working on the 2023 model. For the 2023 model, the interior will stay the same as 2019 model (and also 2020 one). They only expand the active safety features and also power operated tailgates. The feature will be offered for RST, LT Trail Boss, and LT models while the power down or up tailgate would be available only for the High Country and LTZ models.
The Interior
The interior of the pick-ups and SUVs is almost similar, but the difference lies on the infotainment layout – and how everything is integrated to the dashboard. Not to mention that Sierra and Silverado have small touchscreen display screen because it competes with the air vents. In the SUVs, the screen is bigger while the air vents are located at the bottom side. This is one among other things that Chevy has to work – and probably change for.
Silverado EV?
There have been rumors that Silverado may come with EV type. It’s because Chevy is said to have worked together with GMC Hummer for their EV lines too. Rumor has it that the Silverado may have big battery pack that is enough to provide enough juice within a charge – enough to drive for 400 miles. If the rumor is true and Chevy continues with their planning, the Silverado EV would have 3 electric motors and it will be on all wheel driving system.
Final Words
The standard Silverado will compete against Ford Raptor and RAM TRX while Silverado EV (if the plan is true) will compete against Tesla Cybertruck, Rivian R1T, and also Electric Ford F-150. For now, we can only wait for further release and update of 2023 Chevy Silverado
